In Waves

Trivium, one of my favorite bands released their new single the other day. In Waves reminds me of their older stuff, except more personal. Previously, their lyrics on most of their songs bordered on protest about political and social issues.

This time it sounds like Matt has got his own issues to deal with, and personal lyrics are always what I relate to most. The video is.... well different. I just wish I knew why the band had to come out of the water 50 dozen times.

I've always wanted a place to call my own. Facebook is too impersonal, does anyone really have that many friends? No. I can't put my thoughts into a few dozen characters on Twitter, I tried Tumblr -  it didn't end well. My Myspace account is probably long gone, along with Myspace itself.
